Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Jenova, Ancient Calamity as a counter and draw engine. At the start of combat Jenova puts +1/+1 counters equal to her power on another creature and makes it a Mutant, and when a Mutant you control dies on your turn you draw cards equal to its power. The deck grows creatures with counters, doubles that growth with Winding Constrictor and Cursed Wombat, and sacrifices Mutants for cards and value. It wins by attacking with large threats like Ghoultree and Agent Frank Horrigan or by draining opponents with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Recursion and proliferate let it grind through removal.
