Big Booty Judy

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Doran deck is a toughness-matters combat deck. The commander, Doran, Besieged by Time, is a cost-reducer and team pump: it discounts any creature whose toughness exceeds its power and turns each attack into a giant +X/+X bonus. The actual damage conversion comes from the hidden commander Doran, the Siege Tower and similar effects such as Assault Formation and Bedrock Tortoise. The plan is to ramp with defender-druids, establish a toughness-damage effect, attack with walls and Treefolk for huge chunks, and use draw/dump effects like Last March of the Ents with Jaws of Defeat to finish the whole table. Betor, Kin to All and Fecund Greenshell provide card advantage and life-total pressure.
