Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy led by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald. It turns the exile zone into a value and token generation engine. By casting spells from exile through cascade, adventures, foretell, rebound, and impulse draw, the deck steadily creates an army of 2/2 green Wolf tokens. Mana ramp in the early turns ensures Faldorn arrives on Turn 3 and starts generating tokens by Turn 4. Once a substantial board forms, the deck closes out the game around Turns 6 to 8 using powerful overrun effects like Beastmaster Ascension, End-Raze Forerunners, and Unnatural Growth, or through direct burn via Passionate Archaeologist. While the deck features robust card flow and strong recovery through standalone threats like Etali, Primal Conqueror, it lacks instant-speed board protection and specific nonland tutors, making it reliant on combat damage and vulnerable to timely board wipes.
