Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Atarka, World Render. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and cost-reduction artifacts during turns 1 through 3, establishing large evasive dragons on turns 4 and 5, and resolving Atarka to grant the entire dragon brood double strike upon attacking. The deck produces massive bursts of flying combat damage that can eliminate opponents in rapid succession. High creature power also fuels substantial card draw spells such as Return of the Wildspeaker and Rishkar's Expertise to sustain resources. While the deck boasts heavy redundancy in large threats and mana acceleration, it relies heavily on natural draws and fair combat steps, making it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and instant-speed spot removal during its multi-turn combat clock.
