Deck overview

This mono-blue deck is helmed by Vnwxt, Verbose Host, an engine commander that removes maximum hand size and doubles all card draws once Max Speed is reached. The deck utilizes low-cost evasive creatures like Gudul Lurker and Triton Shorestalker to reliably deal combat damage each turn, quickly leveling up speed from 1 to 4 by Turn 5. Once Max Speed is active, wheel effects and mass card draw spells like Windfall, Tolarian Winds, and Flow of Knowledge draw massive quantities of cards. These draws fuel payoffs such as Psychosis Crawler for direct table-wide life loss, Alandra, Sky Dreamer and Ominous Seas for overwhelming flying and Kraken armies, and Laboratory Maniac as an alternate win condition. While the deck boasts immense late-game card velocity, it relies heavily on creature combat to build speed and must navigate vulnerability to board wipes.
