Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Midrange strategy commanded by Saruman, the White Hand. The primary objective is to cast noncreature spells to amass a massive Orc Army while granting Goblins and Orcs ward {2}. Supporting permanents such as Fiery Inscription, The Great Goblin, and Mirkwood Bats turn spellcasting and token generation into global life drain. The deck controls the board with thematic removal, creature theft, and countermagic before securing combat connections using unblockability and menace enablers like Rogue's Passage and My Precious. Backup threats like Ovika, Enigma Goliath provide wide token swarms if the tall Army strategy is disrupted.
