Noctis by Domo

Format: Commander

Commander: Noctis, Heir Apparent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Esper equipment/ninja combat deck. Noctis, Heir Apparent is the on-board equipment manipulator: whenever an attacker enters via ninjutsu or sneak, he attaches protection, evasion, or power equipment for free, and his Warp-Strike turns him into an unblockable attacker. The 99 contains a nearly parallel ninja plan: cheap unblockable Rogues and Merfolk let Ninjutsu and Sneak creatures enter already attacking, triggering Yuriko, Shredder, Dark Leo, and card-draw effects. The deck wins by accumulating ninja combat triggers, halving life totals, and equipping Noctis for lethal commander damage. Yuriko acts as a hidden payoff, but the deck does not depend on Noctis: without him, the ninja and equipment plans remain functional.
