Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a specialized damage-redirection control and combo strategy commanded by Zinnia, Valley's Voice. The primary game plan revolves around deploying a critical mass of 'spitemare' creatures—permanents that deal damage to targets whenever they are dealt damage, such as Boros Reckoner, Brash Taunter, Phyrexian Vindicator, and Stuffy Doll. Zinnia, Valley's Voice empowers this plan by granting all creature spells Offspring {2}, allowing you to create 1/1 token copies of your redirection creatures. Once multiple reflectors are assembled, resolving high-damage sweepers like Blasphemous Act or casting Arcbond turns incoming board damage into lethal burn directed straight at opponents' life totals. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo using Blazing Sunsteel on Brash Taunter, alongside a heavy suite of defensive combat reflection spells such as Comeuppance and Deflecting Palm that punish aggressive opponents.
