Format: Commander

Commander: Imotekh the Stormlord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black artifact-reanimator deck helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord, built around the Necron "leave the graveyard" trigger that floods the board with 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. The core loop is simple: mill or discard artifact creatures, then reanimate them (via Unearth, Reanimate, Victimize, Living Death, or Technomancer) to trigger Imotekh repeatedly and bury opponents in tokens and value. The deck layers several win conditions - combat with an overwhelming token army, infinite-mana combos through Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle + Myr Retriever, Bolas's Citadel life-drain, Out of the Tombs self-mill, and incidental poison from Virulent Silencer. This is a tuned Bracket 3 deck: it runs premium tutors and game-changers like Necropotence and Bolas's Citadel, but lacks the fast mana and free interaction that would push it into Bracket 4/5 territory.
