the living weapon by CerealDevourer

Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ekthi, Contaminator Priest is the engine of a white Equipment-voltron deck: after he resolves, every Equipment cast from hand creates a free 0/0 Germ and is already attached, which turns Colossus Hammer and Excalibur into zero-effort power boosts. The primary kill is commander damage, loading Ekthi with at least two big Equipment to attack for 21+ and then using Genji Glove's double strike and extra combat to finish two players in one turn. Secondary paths go wide with Phyrexian Germs and Elesh Norn effects, or exploit The Everforger as a hidden commander, copying Equipment spells for an extra living-weapon token. Stonehewer Giant, Stoneforge Mystic, and Steelshaper's Gift fetch the needed pieces; Puresteel Paladin and Sigarda's Aid make equipping effectively free. Rebuilding comes from Forge Anew, Brilliant Restoration, and Cid.
