Deck overview

This Golgari deck is an aggressive Elf tribal strategy commanded by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. It focuses on accelerating mana in the opening turns with cheap mana dorks such as Priest of Titania and Jaspera Sentinel, then deploying Lathril equipped with evasion tools like Whispersilk Cloak and Trailblazer's Boots. Connecting in combat rapidly snowballs 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens, allowing the deck to transition into two complementary win conditions: explosive team-wide combat buffs via Beastmaster Ascension, Overcome, and Unnatural Growth, or non-combat life drain by tapping ten Elves with Lathril. The deck features strong recursion and asymmetric sweepers like Eyeblight Massacre to preserve its own board while weakening opponents. It operates comfortably at mid-power casual tables, offering steady board development and high synergy.
