Deck overview

Shiko, Paragon of the Way functions as a powerful value engine by casting nonland spells with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard whenever it enters the battlefield. The deck combines cycling cards with slide engines such as Astral Slide, Astral Drift, and Escape Protocol to flicker Shiko repeatedly on each player's turn. Each flicker trigger replays cycled enchantments, removal, or value pieces for free. You convert this rapid cycling velocity into victory through direct discard damage from Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Drannith Stinger, and Magmakin Artillerist, or by overwhelming opponents with token swarms from Ominous Seas and Shark Typhoon.
