Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue draw-go tempo strategy commanded by The Watcher in the Water. The primary game plan revolves around playing at instant speed, casting card-draw spells on opponents' turns to generate an army of 1/1 Tentacle tokens while keeping mana open for interaction. As Tentacles block or die to utility engines like Skullclamp, the commander stuns opposing threats and untaps to defend. The deck transitions into the late game by accumulating massive sea monsters via Ominous Seas, Nadir Kraken, and Spawning Kraken. It clears opposing blockers using one-sided bounce spells such as Whelming Wave, Scourge of Fleets, and Summon: Leviathan, and grants evasion with Wonder in the graveyard to eliminate all three opponents through overwhelming combat damage over two response cycles.
