Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Blink Midrange strategy commanded by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar. It leverages white and black enter-the-battlefield creatures to accumulate steady card draw, mana ramp, and board control. By flickering its own permanents with cards like Guardian of Ghirapur, Restoration Angel, and Ghostway, the deck continuously triggers Syr Vondam's ability to gain life and grow with +1/+1 counters. Once Syr Vondam reaches 4 power, it serves as a built-in deterrent that destroys a nonland permanent upon death or exile. The deck transitions into the late game through powerful mass-blink and token generators like Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward, backed by mass recursion from Sun Titan and Ascend from Avernus. Winning lines depend on wide combat damage paired with evasive commander damage over several combat rotations.
