Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Clavileño, First of the Blessed and operates as a Vampire tribal aristocrats engine. The deck curves low-cost Vampires into an early commander cast, using Clavileño's combat trigger to mark attacking Vampires into Demons. When these creatures die or are fed to sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Bartolomé del Presidio, they replace themselves by drawing a card and creating a 4/3 flying Vampire Demon token. The deck drains opponents using death triggers from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Bastion of Remembrance. Opposing boards are suppressed through Grave Pact and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. Decisive finishes are achieved through flying combat damage doubled by Bloodletter of Aclazotz, mass life drain, a storm burst from Bolas's Citadel, or the infinite life-drain combo of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood.
