dragon nina by Micycle

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon leads a five-color Dragon beatdown deck that uses Eminence cost reduction and attack-trigger cheating as its engine. The primary plan is to ramp into cost-reduced Dragons, refill through Tiamat/Sarkhan, and kill by flying combat. Secondary wins include Dragon Tempest plus Ancient Gold Dragon token-pings, Call the Spirit Dragons' upkeep victory, and Betor's toughness lifeloss. Cheat pieces like Fist of Suns, Dracogenesis, Monster Manual, and Hellkite Courser bypass the high curve. There is no hidden commander; Hellkite Courser is a temporary Ur-Dragon enabler. The deck remains playable if Ur-Dragon is never cast because Eminence still discounts, but loses a big draw/cheat engine.
