Deck overview

This Mayael the Anima deck is a dedicated Naya big-mana creature cheat deck designed to bypass prohibitive casting costs and cheat massive, game-ending threats into play. The list utilizes an efficient ramp package—featuring Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender, Sol Ring, and land ramp—to quickly reach the six mana required to activate Mayael. Once online, Mayael digs five cards deep to put creatures with power 5 or greater onto the battlefield at instant speed, boasting an approximate 89% hit rate across 34 high-power threats. The payoff suite features devastating beaters and asymmetric lock pieces such as Blightsteel Colossus, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Void Winnower, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, supported by overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Moonshaker Cavalry. Redundant cheat enablers like Sneak Attack, Elvish Piper, Monster Manual, and Tooth and Nail ensure high strategic resilience against commander removal.
