Format: Commander

Commander: Edward Kenway

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Edward Kenway heads a Grixis pirate/vehicle value deck. The primary plan is to attack with a small fleet of Pirates and Vehicles, converting every tapped attacker into Treasures at the end step and using Vehicle combat triggers to exile-and later cast-opponents' cards. Secondary paths are a theft/tempo package (Hostage Taker, Zara, Renegade Recruiter, Coercive Recruiter, Don Andres) and two noncombat win conditions: Revel in Riches and Mechanized Production copying Treasures. Edward is an accelerator rather than a combo lynchpin; the deck still threatens a win through Treasures and vehicle beats if he is kept off the board. The deck has no hidden commander and, being single-faced, is built around the Kenway side.
