Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender heads a Mardu token swarm that wins through wide combat backed by incremental drain. The primary plan is to deploy Zurgo early, then flood the board with Mobilize, myriad and token generators to attack each turn; each attacking token that is sacrificed at end step draws a card, while non-attacking token deaths drain each opponent, scaled by Bastion, Mirkwood Bats and Warleader's Call. Secondary paths use anthem upgrades like Divine Visitation and Goldnight Commander or an extra combat from All-Out Assault to convert a wide board into lethal. Zurgo is the card-advantage and drain engine, not a combo piece. Teysa Karlov acts as hidden commander, doubling all death triggers and giving tokens vigilance and lifelink.
