Deck overview

This is a high-power Bant creature-combo deck helmed by Helga, Skittish Seer. Helga turns every creature spell with mana value 4 or greater into a card, a life point, and a +1/+1 counter, then taps for that much mana to cast more large creatures or X-spells. Cheap dorks put her on the battlefield by turn two or three, after which four-drops like Chulane, Teller of Tales, Beast Whisperer, Galadriel, Light of Valinor, and Inga and Esika explode the hand and grow Helga into a one-card mana battery. Wins come from infinite mana via Emiel the Blessed plus Peregrine Drake into Walking Ballista, Intruder Alarm tap-loops, and combat finishes with Craterhoof Behemoth or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Clones such as Sakashima of a Thousand Faces copy Helga or Drake to multiply the engine, while a dense counter suite protects the go-off turn. The list plays like generous midrange until one untap dumps the rest of the library and ends the game.
