Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf combo deck is built to win with Thassa's Oracle by emptying its library with Demonic Consultation, Tainted Pact, or Hermit Druid (which mills the entire deck because the list runs no basic lands). Tutors and fast mana assemble the two-card win by turn 3-4 with heavy counter backup. The secondary engine is infinite mana via Umbral Mantle equipped to Marwyn, Selvala, Incubation Druid or Deathbloom Ritualist, generating infinite power to close with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or recast Oracle. Thranduil, the Elvenking is a value engine that copies all Elf activated abilities from the graveyard and draws cards off legendary Elves, while Hermit Druid acts as the hidden commander that single-handedly enables the primary win.
