Deck overview

Rakdos, Lord of Riots leads a traditional Rakdos big-mana beatdown deck: cheap pings open the door for an early Rakdos, which discounts every creature spell, letting the deck chain seven-to-eleven-cost demons and Eldrazi far ahead of curve. The secondary win is a compact infinite loop: with Rakdos and four points of life loss in a turn, Ancestral Statue costs zero, and Nettle Drone or Impact Tremors converts repeated casts into a kill. Card draw and looting find the pieces while annihilator threats and damage multiplication form the fair plan. The deck loses most of its speed if Rakdos is answered, and there is no hidden commander.
