Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu combat-cheat deck piloted by Kaalia of the Vast. Its primary strategy revolves around deploying Kaalia by Turn 3 or 4, protecting her with an elite suite of free and efficient defensive spells, and attacking to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent in a single combat, while cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Razaketh, the Foulblooded establish insurmountable board positions. The deck also features reanimation packages via Reanimate and Return to the Light Realms, an alternate cheat outlet in Sneak Attack, and an infinite combat win condition with Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. The list relies on heavy offensive tempo, high threat redundancy, and robust stack protection to close out games swiftly.
