Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Vehicle midrange engine commanded by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Shorikai on Turn 4 to consistently draw cards, filter hand quality, and manufacture 1/1 Pilot tokens. These tokens effectively crew high-power Vehicles such as Reaver Titan, Skysovereign, Consul Flagship, and Knight Paladin. The deck leverages artifact cost reducers like Foundry Inspector and tutors like Tinker to accelerate expensive threats into play. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from value generation to lethal combat pressure, utilizing global buffs from Urza, Prince of Kroog and evasive beaters like Krang, Utrom Warlord. Defensive countermagic and tax pieces like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV slow down opposing game plans, while Vehicles provide natural resilience against sorcery-speed creature board wipes. The deck reliably closes out games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage and widespread trigger burn.
