Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal deck built around High Perfect Morcant, leveraging its blight trigger to distribute -1/-1 counters and its proliferate ability to spread them further. The primary game plan is to assemble a wide board of cheap Elves, use -1/-1 counter synergies (Blowfly Infestation, Necroskitter, Flourishing Defenses, Crumbling Ashes) to control opponents' creatures, and finish via combat (Triumph of the Hordes, Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun) or infinite mana combos (Staff of Domination + Marwyn, the Nurturer/Priest of Titania). The commander is a solid value engine but not the sole linchpin; the deck can execute its plan without it, relying on the dense Elf mana dork package and numerous tutors to find combo pieces.
