Ureni V2 by callybear

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon "cheat-into-play" deck built around Ureni of the Unwritten's ETB and attack triggers, which dig eight cards deep and put a Dragon directly onto the battlefield. The plan is to ramp hard, deploy cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant, cast Ureni, and snowball a board of flying, hasty Dragons. The primary win is combat: Atarka, World Render, Terror of Mount Velus, and Twinflame Tyrant double damage, while Scourge of the Throne adds extra combat steps to turn a big swing into a table kill. Old Gnawbone and Goldspan Dragon generate Treasure to chain further spells, and Tooth and Nail can entwine to fetch two Dragons for a one-shot finish. It is a classic battlecruiser: explosive when Ureni connects, but slow to assemble and vulnerable to disruption.
