Deck overview

Azlask, the Swelling Scourge is a five-color Eldrazi token/experience deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with Eldrazi Scions and Spawns, sacrifice them for mana and experience counters, then activate Azlask's WUBRG ability to make the entire team huge and give tokens indestructible and annihilator. Secondary paths include Ezuri, Claw of Progress as a hidden commander that turns small token entries into +1/+1 counters, Meren and Minthara as experience payoffs, and a Brood Monitor/Emrakul's Hatcher plus Eldrazi Displacer loop with Glaring Fleshraker as an infinite-damage outlet. The commander is the main finisher and experience engine; without it, the deck pivots to Ezuri, Eldrazi Monument, and the combo.
