Deck overview

Thalisse, Reverent Medium leads an aggressive Orzhov Token and Aristocrats deck designed to overwhelm opponents with an expanding army of flying Spirit tokens and lethal life drain. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient token generators like Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, setting up Thalisse's arrival on Turn 4. Thalisse duplicates all tokens created each turn at the end step, rapidly generating an evasive aerial army. This token swarm fuels powerful card draw engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician while generating mana through Ashnod's Altar and Warren Soultrader. By Turn 5, payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Cathars' Crusade, and Grave Pact establish lethal pressure and oppressive creature control. The deck finishes games on Turn 6 through mass sacrifice drain or an unblockable combat attack with Akroma's Will, protected by free interaction such as Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude.
