Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive Voltron combat strategy focused on Cloud, Planet's Champion. The primary game plan develops early mana and Equipment, casts Cloud on curve, and equips him at a discount to activate his native double strike and turn-phase invulnerability. Armed with scaling power enhancers like Nettlecyst, Buster Sword, and Ultima Weapon, Cloud rapidly applies lethal commander damage. A dense supporting cast of legendary warriors, Dwarves, and artificers such as Agrus Kos, Spirit of Justice, Firion, Wild Rose Warrior, and Danitha Capashen, Paragon provides cost reduction, token generation, and viable backup combat threats if Cloud is removed. While the list lacks explosive zero-cost mana acceleration and fast combo finishes, it presents consistent mid-game pressure with resilient threats and layered Equipment redundancy. Defensively, the deck relies on Equipment-based hexproof and combat tricks to protect its key threats during opposing turns, steadily dismantling opponents across sequential combat steps.
