Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck centered on Vivi Ornitier. Vivi grows with +1/+1 counters and pings all opponents for 1 damage whenever you cast a noncreature spell, while also acting as a burst mana engine. The primary win condition pairs Vivi with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. Because Vivi damages each opponent simultaneously, each noncreature spell triggers three separate card draws. This draws virtually the entire library while generating surplus mana via Vivi's tap-free activation and rituals. The deck finishes the table on the same turn through direct ping damage, Grapeshot, Aetherflux Reservoir, or Chandra's Ignition. Dense cantrips smooth early draws and find key auras, while premium countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protects the combo turn.
