The Hash-Slinging Slasher by Kephalopod

Format: Commander

Commander: Hashaton, Scarab's Fist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist turns discard outlets into cheap 4/4 zombie clones, so the deck is an Esper reanimator-control hybrid. The primary plan is to bin high-impact creatures (Archon of Cruelty, Sheoldred, Jin-Gitaxias) through Putrid Imp, looters, and draw-discard spells, then either pay {2}{U} for token copies or reanimate them with Reanimate/Necromancy. Secondary paths are a control shell of counterspells and sweepers plus value legends like Rona and Vohar. The commander is a reusable token engine; the deck still functions through normal reanimation if he is absent. A Hullbreaker/Sol Ring line offers infinite mana but no clean outlet, so combat with evasive beats is the main finish. There is no hidden commander; Rona is support, not the focus.
