Deck overview

This deck leverages Rootha, Mastering the Moment to convert high-mana-value instant and sorcery spells into massive flying, hasty Elemental tokens. Supported by an efficient ramp suite of 2-mana rocks and spell cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer and Stormcatch Mentor, the deck accelerates Rootha onto the board by Turn 3. It then cheats mana costs using delve, power discounts, and alternate casting costs on cards like Treasure Cruise, Volcanic Salvo, and Fury of the Horde to create enormous 8/8 to 12/12 attackers as early as Turn 5. Non-legendary clone spells like Irenicus's Vile Duplication and Quantum Misalignment multiply token generation exponentially, while extra combat spells like Full Throttle and Relentless Assault quickly overwhelm the table. In addition to aerial combat pressure, the deck holds a compact backup win condition in the Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame infinite token combination.
