Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-green "big mana" and Eldrazi-value deck that weaponizes The Notary Hobbits as a repeatable Halfling-token generator and mana engine. The commander's ETB creates two nonlegendary copies, and its tap ability then produces one colorless mana per Halfling - which quickly explodes with Maskwood Nexus, changelings, and the commander's own tokens. The deck's primary paths to victory are: generate a critical mass of creatures and break the game with Craterhoof Behemoth or a huge Finale of Devastation; assemble infinite mana with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or the commander plus Umbral Mantle and sink it into Walking Ballista; or simply cast overwhelming Eldrazi such as Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Emrakul, the Promised End. It is a high-ramp, tutor-heavy deck that aims to out-muscle the table before opponents can meaningfully interact.
