Counter Partners by user9196485

Format: Commander

Commander: Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Built around the Ishai/Reyhan partner pair, this is a four-color +1/+1 counter deck that swells creatures, protects them, and either beats down with an enormous Ishai or wins instantly through Simic Ascendancy. Ishai serves as a resilient flying threat that grows from every spell opponents cast; Reyhan is the counter-redistribution engine, turning deaths and board wipes into new value. The deck is not tied to one commander and has no hidden commander: its engine cards are Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Cathars' Crusade, and proliferate pieces. Secondary paths are large trampling hydra attacks and a token-counters board.
