Cloud go brrrrr by csh00k

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Naya Equipment-aggro deck that plans to cast Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER on or ahead of curve, strap a high-impact Equipment to him, and convert his haste-attack triggers into gas and Treasures. The primary win path is an extra-combat engine: Aggravated Assault plus Sword of Feast and Famine or The Reaver Cleaver turns one equipped attack into an arbitrarily long sequence of combat phases. The backup path is non-infinite combat overdrive with Tifa, Martial Artist, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Karlach, Fury of Avernus chaining extra combats while Colossus Hammer and Buster Sword make every swing threatening. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary in the 99 acts as an additional Equipment tutor and trigger doubler, giving the deck a second effective engine. A dense tutor column, cheap draw/equip engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, and a strong protection suite round out the list.
