Deck overview

This five-color deck revolves around Codie, Ravenous Codex and the prepare mechanic, utilizing split-style creature spells to generate compounding spell advantage. Codie doubles every prepared spell cast, converting modest utility creatures into explosive turns. Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song generates ten mana to power out game-ending threats, while Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall refills the hand with six cards. The deck transitions into late-game dominance using Shark Typhoon, Fiery Inscription, and Cosmic Crucible to translate spell casts into massive airborne armies and direct burn. Supported by solid five-color fixing, versatile removal like Path to Exile and Austere Command, and flexible protection like Invisible Force Field, the deck plays an interactive midrange game that scales into a decisive turn 8 table elimination.
