Deck overview

This deck is a classic Selesnya token swarm strategy commanded by Emmara, Soul of the Accord. The game plan focuses on deploying Emmara on Turn 2 and immediately leveraging tap abilities, convoke spells, and safe attacks to generate a continuous stream of 1/1 lifelink Soldier tokens. As the creature count climbs, the deck transitions into mana velocity via convoke ramp like Harvest Season and card advantage through engines like Idol of Oblivion and Collective Unconscious. Victory is achieved through decisive combat steps powered by team-wide anthems and overrun effects such as Overrun, Thunderfoot Baloth, and Collective Blessing. The deck features solid single-target removal in Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, along with targeted sweeper protection in Rootborn Defenses. However, because it relies on sorcery-speed combat and public permanent build-up, it remains vulnerable to sweepers that exile or bounce, requiring disciplined resource commitment across table rotations.
