Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul typal aggro deck commanded by Muerra, Trash Tactician. The primary game plan curves low-cost Raccoons and Changelings into Muerra on turn 3, converting creature presence into substantial first main phase mana starting on turn 4. This mana surplus fuels the deck's expend mechanics, triggering life gain and card advantage while rapidly deploying heavy permanent threats. On turn 5, the deck lands decisive combat multipliers such as Beastmaster Ascension, Unnatural Growth, Banner of Kinship, or Roaming Throne to create an overpowering combat board. The deck closes games across turns 5 and 6 through broad trample attacks. While the deck possesses explosive mana velocity and high typal redundancy, it relies heavily on creature combat and remains vulnerable to sweepers due to limited mass-protection spells.
