Deck overview

Chatterfang, Squirrel General turns every token maker into a larger Squirrel army and also provides repeatable creature removal when black mana and expendable Squirrels are available. The main plan is to develop Cryptolith Rite or another token-mana engine, then use Deep Forest Hermit, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Springleaf Parade, or similar cards to build a wide board. Skullclamp, The Odd Acorn Gang, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and Black Market Connections help convert that board into cards and resources. The primary closing sequence is a large Craterhoof Behemoth attack, usually around turn 7 in an ordinary supported draw. Sacrifice payoffs such as Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats make creature losses costly for opponents, but they do not form a supported two-card infinite combo. The deck has strong internal synergy but remains vulnerable to sweepers, exile, and disruption before its combat turn.
