Tyranny of Dragons by beesk

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, built to chain large flyers cheaply off the eminence cost reduction and turn the attack step into a massive value engine - each attacking Dragon draws a card, and the commander's trigger cheats a permanent from hand onto the battlefield. The primary path to victory is the Savage Ventmaw + Hellkite Charger infinite-combat loop, with Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient as a backup mana engine for the same extra-combat shell. Secondary wins come from overwhelming flying combat backed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm token copies, Scourge of Valkas/Terror of the Peaks ETB burn, and the Call the Spirit Dragons alternate win condition. Scion of the Ur-Dragon, Tiamat, and Sarkhan's Triumph provide robust assembly for the combo.
