Deck overview

This is a Grixis midrange-combo deck helmed by Marchesa, Dealer of Death that turns every piece of targeted interaction into card selection. Committing crimes (targeting opponents, their permanents, or their graveyards) fuels Marchesa's dig, while a dense instant/sorcery suite, reanimation package, and classic Niv-Mizzet draw-damage loops close games. Primary wins are Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind paired with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout; secondary lines include reanimating those dragons via Buried Alive/Dread Return/Victimize, grinding with Kess, Dissident Mage and Past in Flames, and draining or token-swarm finishes through Goblin Bombardment. The deck plays interactive control until it assembles a compact two-card kill, using crime triggers, loot effects, and graveyard recursion to stay ahead on cards.
