Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact stompy strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. It leverages low-cost green ramp and artifact token generators—including Clues, Food, Treasures, and Heartwoods—to rapidly build a deep mana base and dense artifact count. Aerid provides continuous ramp on entry and death while serving as a potent mana sink that inflates its own power based on your artifact count. The deck transitions into the midgame by deploying heavy artifact-scaling finishers like Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, and Nettlecyst, or by generating massive card advantage through Garruk's Uprising and The Great Henge. Because Aerid creates Heartwood mana tokens whenever it dies, the commander features built-in recovery against removal, allowing the deck to rebuild quickly and threaten lethal commander and combat damage across multiple opponents.
