Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine aggressive Voltron combat with political goad control. By casting enchantments, the commander taps and goads key enemy blockers while drawing extra cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck develops smoothly on curve using cost reducers like Starfield Mystic and enchantress card engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer. Defensive auras like Sheltered by Ghosts and Spirit Mantle protect your main threat, while offensive multipliers such as All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Daybreak Coronet rapidly scale Killian into a lethal attacker. Goad enchantments like Coercive Impetus and Eriette of the Charmed Apple force opponents to attack one another, draining their life totals and clearing the way for sequential commander-damage eliminations starting around Turn 6. Backup plans like Archon of Sun's Grace and Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice ensure consistent pressure even if the commander is removed.
