THE UR-DRAGON by user8948591

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon is both an eminence cost reducer and, once on the battlefield, a draw-and-cheat engine that turns attacks into free permanents. The deck is built to ramp into it, then chain Dragons through its attack trigger, Kaalia, Tiamat, and Dracogenesis. Tiamat effectively acts as the hidden commander, tutoring five Dragons to set up a one-shot combat kill. The primary win is a devastating combat step with Klauth, Terror of Mount Velus, Twinflame Tyrant, and Miirym-made copies; Call the Spirit Dragons is a slower alternate win that requires a five-color Dragon board.
