Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mono-Red Voltron and forced-combat engine commanded by Kratos, God of War. The primary strategy leverages Kratos's native double strike, global haste aura, and end-step damage trigger to punish opponents for turtling while driving relentless combat damage. Supported by a robust suite of Equipment such as Commander's Plate, The Reaver Cleaver, and various protective Swords, Kratos rapidly threatens lethal commander damage. Secondary threats like Slicer, Hired Muscle and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos pass around the table, forcing opponents to attack each other and whittle down life totals. Mass goad spells including Disrupt Decorum and passive combat enforcers like Fumiko the Lowblood dismantle defensive lines, clearing pathways for lethal swings. While the deck lacks stack countermagic and generic tutoring, its high equipment redundancy, explosive treasure generation, and potent redirection spells like Deflecting Swat maintain high tempo and resilience through mid-game combat steps.
