Lathril, Blade of the Elves 08/23/26 by user4922518

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads a Golgari elf-ball that turns every Elf into mana, tokens, and life loss. The primary plan is to deploy early dorks, generate a huge elf count, then win with Finale of Devastation at X=10 or a trample-lord swing. The secondary plan uses Lathril's activated drain, boosted by Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler and Quirion Ranger for extra activations, with Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage adding burst reach. Lathril is single-faced; there is no hidden commander. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury appears in the 99 as a token and removal engine, not as a build-around. The deck remains functional without Lathril, but its fastest drain line slows significantly.
