Deck overview

This deck is a Boros combat-control and big-mana strategy led by Basandra, Battle Seraph. It accelerates mana in the early game using efficient mana rocks and Myr creatures. In the midgame, it bypasses heavy casting costs by deploying cheat permanents such as Sneak Attack, Quicksilver Amulet, and Dragon Arch. These enablers drop massive, game-warping Angels like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Aurelia, the Warleader directly onto the battlefield. Basandra controls the pace of combat by silencing spells during attack steps and forcing opposing creatures into bad attacks. A Sunforger package provides repeatable access to efficient removal and protection spells like Boros Charm. The deck also includes an infinite colorless mana combo featuring Basalt Monolith and Zirda, the Dawnwaker as an alternate route to victory. The deck closes games around turn 8 through overwhelming aerial combat damage.
