Deck overview

This is a four-color control/value deck built around Atraxa, Praetors' Voice and the proliferate mechanic. The primary plan is to land an early poison counter on every opponent with Prologue to Phyresis, Phyresis Outbreak, or Infectious Bite, then snowball those counters with Atraxa's end-step trigger and a dense package of backup proliferate pieces like Inexorable Tide, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Radstorm, Thrummingbird, and Staff of Compleation. A stun-counter subtheme with Sensational Spider-Man, Fear of Sleep Paralysis, and Meat Locker keeps opposing creatures locked down while the poison clock advances. The deck is also a strong answer-first shell: 13 counterspells, about 10 free spells, and a full removal suite give it a genuine instant-speed control identity. It does not run infinite combos; it wins via incremental poison, Atraxa beats after Deepglow Skate or Finale of Devastation, and occasional Toxrill, the Corrosive board dominance.
