Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on discard and graveyard value under Norman Osborn, who transforms into Green Goblin. Early on, Norman attacks unblocked to connive, sculpting your hand and loading your graveyard. Once transformed into Green Goblin, all discarded nonland cards gain mayhem and graveyard spells cost two less to cast. This lets you chain cheap recursive threats directly from the graveyard during your discard triggers. You win through overwhelming midrange board presence, utilizing evasive Villain beaters boosted by Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, mass evasion from Vulture, Scheming Scavenger, and burn from Shadow of the Goblin.
