Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a combination mana battery, damage engine, and storm outlet. By attaching damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout to Vivi, every noncreature spell cast deals 1 damage to each opponent and draws 3 cards. Vivi's {0} activated ability converts power into a large mana injection, allowing the pilot to chain through cheap cantrips, generate mana with rituals such as Jeska's Will and Pyretic Ritual, and burn the entire table in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by an uncounterable backup combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun and protected by an efficient, low-CMC counterspell suite.
